There’s a lot of exciting progress going on here at Alexan Sloan’s Lake apartments for rent in Denver, Colorado. Construction is moving right along and we’re already leasing beautiful studio, one and two bedroom units. Our stunning new community is one of the hottest properties in the city, partly due to the choice location. There’s always something fun going on around our vibrant neighborhood!
This week we’re eagerly anticipating the start of the USA Pro Challenge bicycle race. What a great opportunity to see the top cyclists and teams from around the world! Talented men and women will pedal all across our awesome state August 17-23. It’s known as America’s most difficult professional cycling race thanks to lung-burning altitudes and demanding climbs through the Rockies.
Best of all, the seventh and final stage wraps up in downtown Denver. Racing on the 23rd, begins with a loop north of Golden before a grueling four-mile climb on Lookout Mountain. Riders will loop around Golden, fly through Wheat Ridge and Lakewood and blaze into downtown Denver for the exciting climax. Cyclists will battle it out for the final prize as they circle the Denver circuit four times. Treat yourself to the spectacle of a pro cycling event. It’s a blast! Feel the whoosh of the peloton as the riders fly by in a blur. And don’t forget the party! Join the post-race celebrations at the Finish Festival in Civic Center Park.
Speaking of Civic Center Park, the downtown spot will host another great event Labor Day weekend. A Taste of Colorado is set for Sept. 4-7, featuring great music and, of course, gourmet cuisine. Kansas, Bruce Hornsby, Morris Day and the Time and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts are among the headliners. But the food takes center stage at this festival! Sample delicious creations from more than 50 of Colorado’s top restaurants.
We hope you take advantage of the great activities our city has to offer. And, if you want to be right in the middle of the action, be sure to come by Alexan Sloan’s Lake. You’ll love our urban enclave!
